Most brands don't fail because they lack ambition. They fail because complexity smothers clarity, and scale blurs the idea. I'm a creative executive and experience designer who builds the systems that keep ideas sharp as they grow — so the work that ships to market one hundred is as good as the work that shipped to market one.
I've spent twenty years doing this at the highest levels of global business. With Google, I led creative strategy across a long-term partnership — directing billion-user product design, brand development, and marketing for Search, YouTube, Android, Workspace, Gemini, and Chrome. I led a cross-functional team of 365, held direct accountability for 125 creatives, and delivered $86M in annual revenue. With Nike, I led the first major Nike.com redesign since 2008 — rolling it out across 96 markets, driving +42% online sales growth, and earning a Cannes Cyber Lion and One Show Interactive Gold. With Pfizer, I consolidated 130+ sites into a single unbranded platform in 16 weeks. These aren't the results of heroics. They're the results of building organizations where great work is repeatable by design.
I lead by designing the system behind the work. A clear north star. Shared standards for what great looks like. Decision rituals that protect craft under pressure. Operating models that replace dependency on individual genius with collective accountability. The creative director who can only do it themselves is a liability at scale. The one who builds organizations that do it without them — that's the job.
I'm relentless about quality, but practical about speed. The best work earns the right to be bolder when it's accountable, measurable, and built to last. I use AI as leverage for iteration, localization, and production velocity — while keeping human judgment responsible for insight, taste, and cultural courage.
My perspective is shaped by Carnegie Mellon (Masters, Interaction Design), Duke University (BA, Art History and Public Policy), and two decades living and working across Sydney, Singapore, Stockholm, and New York. Now based in Hudson, NY — still restless.
